What Portechno is

Portechno lists transport, warehousing, clearing and related companies, and passes customer requests to them. We are an introduction service. We do not carry goods, store them, clear them, or act as anyone's agent.

The agreement is between you and the company

Any quote, booking, price or delivery promise is between the customer and the company. We are not a party to it. Rates, terms, insurance and liability for the work are theirs to agree and honour.

Verification, and its limits

Before a company is listed we check its registration, operating permits and goods-in-transit cover, and re-check when those expire. That is a documentary check at a point in time. It is not a guarantee of service quality, solvency, or that a given job will go well.

Using the service

• Post real requests for work you actually intend to place.
• Do not scrape the listings or harvest contact details in bulk.
• Do not post anything unlawful, or goods you may not lawfully move.
• Companies must keep their listing accurate and their documents current.

Requests and links

A request is reachable by its link for 30 days. Anyone with the link can see it, so treat it as you would any URL containing your details.

Liability

We provide the service as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from work arranged through it — including late, damaged or undelivered goods. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Changes

We may change these terms. Material changes will be noted here with a new date above.
